so, i'm going to coachella music festival this year from april 20th - 22nd.

i'm so flippin excited!

as you can see, this year's lineup is amazeballs and i figure since i need to revive this blog, i'm going to post something every day by one of the artists that i intend to see. the show is 90 days away so here's day one of the coachella countdown...

it appears that i haven't touched this thing in almost 5 months!

i do have a good excuse - i was fucking busy, alright!

i spent the better part of august & september trying to get a promotion by working as much overtime as possible.
result = FAIL

then i went to austin, tx for the austin city limits music festival which was awesome and i totally intended to blog about it but i decided against bringing my laptop with me so ultimately, it never happened.
result = FUN TIME, BLOG FAIL

then when i get back from austin, i've been spending a lot of time trying to work some game on a few ladies.
result = TOO SOON TO TELL

then the holidays just knocked the crap outta me.

so no more excuses; sometime in the near future i'll do some work on this thing...

R.I.P. "Macho Man" Randy Savage

one of my all-time favorite pro wrestlers died on friday after a car accident that resulted from what's believed to be a heart attack.

growing up as a wrestling fan in the 80s, most kids were "hulkamaniacs". i always loved the "macho man". maybe it is because i knew that he was born and raised in my hometown of columbus, oh. maybe it was because he had the foxy miss elizabeth as his valet. i even entered a contest through pizza hut to try and win a trip to wrestlemania v so i could see him beat up his ex-friend hulk hogan, live and in person. i didn't win the trip but i did win a wrestlemania v t-shirt and wore it with pride even though he didn't beat the huckster hulkster.

so long, "macho man". you were one of a kind.
